VIP-722 2nd Tuner Control

I don't know if this has been asked before, but can the 2nd tuner on the VIP-722 be changed from UHF control to IR Control? I have an a/v distribution system with keypads. The system both learns/controls and passes IR.

Obviously, tuner 1 is controlled by the keypad or IR pass-through. But I don't know if I can change tuner 2 to be controlled by a distinct IR control.

It cannot at this time. It has been talked about in the past (I believe on a technical chat), but so far we haven't seen it. I know many would like this for use with SlingBox and other devices (like you are talking about). Hopefully they actually do this in the future
