VIP 722 and Cable

I backfeed my 722 to another SD TV set. The ? i have is i also have comcast for locals if i hook the Comcast cable into the cable in on the back off the 722
Am i able to switch from Sat to Cable in the other room?

No you can't view any cable signals through your Dish DVR.

It is possible to watch cable and SAT on TV2. Just keep your modulated output on a channel higher than what your cable system traditionally goes to. Example: I usually place TV2 and channel 117, and tell the customer to watch the "regular" cable channels on whatever number they are on.

And also set the output on the 622 to match the cable feed.
