OK, i have a series of questions here: My current setup is a 211 and a 622 in the house, NEITHER are connected to a phone line. On my bill, i get a programming access fee of $5, and an additional receiver lease fee of $6.

1.) Am I supposed to be charged $5 for each receiver not connected to a phone line?
2.) Is there any way to get rid of the $6 additional receiver fee?
3.) Will the 211/622 recognize each other via DishCOMM? AND if so when i hook up the ethernet jack on wednesday will they both be "dialing out" using a single shared connection? Thus eliminating the $5 and $6 fees?

thanks

Ethernet port will be active with tomorrows update and will supplant phone line.

$5 charge should disappear after your 622 reports in next time.

I hope this is true; I'd love to get rid of that damn $5 "Programming Access Fee" just because I refuse to pay $50 a month for a basic local phone with the Telco.

So far it doesn't appear to be, because the receiver is still trying to "dial" and failing.
