VIP612 local channels

I get all but the strongest local channel. I hook up the antenna directly to the TV and the signal strength is 100%, but going thru the dish receiver it won't pick it up. The receiver picks up other local channels that don't have as strong a signal.
I've scanned a few times with no luck.

Signal might be too strong, I think the tuner in the 612 is easily susceptible to overloading. I would try an attenuator in line, a splitter between the antenna and 612 would work.

Or just aim the antenna a few degrees off.
