As I sit back and wait for my 622 and DishMover installation, I came up with a question. While in temporary housing for the last few months, we've had Comcast Cable (& HD Service). The HD-DVR they gave us to use has a neat feature called "Archive to VCR." I have the output hooked into my DVD Recorder and it serves the same function. I find that it's been a great way to archive shows we want to save or that I can use on a laptop for travel. Does anyone know if the 622 has a similar functionality? If not, does the old-fashioned way of playing something from DVR and pushing record work as well?

Thanks in advance!

The 622 does not have the "Archive to VCR" function, but you can use the composite outputs to connect a DVD recorder, VCR, or (as I do) attach an SD Tivo so I can capture programs in a format that my computer can manipulate.
