VIP622 no signal after power outage

All,

My VIP622 can no longer receive signals from any of the satellites (110, 119, 129) my dish is pointing to.

I tried connecting an old receiver and it has no problem receiving the signals using the same dish feed.

Any idea what might be going on with my receiver? Do I need to get it replaced or is there some kind of reset that needs to be done?

Have you tried the following?

Press and hold the power button until the receiver reboots. This is a hard reboot and resets just about everything.

Do a switch check.

If you have an SW64 or DP 44 switch, have you tried unplugging the power inserter (from the wall socket, not at the power inserter itself) for 30 seconds and plugging it back in.

All those will clear up many of these types of issues.

When ever I lose power my 622 does the same thing, except I lose 129*. The only way for me to get it back is to unplug my 44 switch for a minute and then plug it back in.

My 622 must also be reset after that!
