Vizio E700i-B3 with HR24 remote

I just got a new Vizio E700i-b3 Tv and the receiver says sorry remote can not be programed at this time.
Is there a way to get the remote working with this tv via code entry or something else?

When you go to program remote and put in Vizio, look for models that are close in letters and numbers.
A lot of the time they will work the same.

Slide the mode select from the directv logo to TV
Hold mute + enter until the green light blinks twice
Type 13758
Let us know if that worked!

Got a code from their site that worked, the first they suggested was 11758, but that did not work, can't remember which one did as it was for a friend.
