OK I am a complete geek and have Star Trek Voice Operated Dimmer

It works pretty good, but if the power flashes it loses its programming and goes into an endless loop waiting to be programmed. I actually love the device, but short of getting an UPS for it, I would like one that will remember its programming.

I have an old house and some of the lights are not on switches. It is nice to walk into a room and say "computer" wait for the tone "lights" and the lights work. Not to mention 25% and 50% brightness. And yes it is compatible with LED dimmable lights.

Anyone have a more updated solution (I have had this for a few years)? All it would have to do is handle power outages and I would be happy. Right now (it is in my bedroom) if power goes out, I have to talk through the complete programming sequence if the power flashes.

The clap on devices do not seem to handle dimming. If they had lets say 4 claps -- 2 for 25%, 3 for 50% and 4 for 100% it would be OK.
