[VOOM] 07/05 deadline for $0 upfront

IMHO as a VOOMER since 11/05/03 , Voom should never charge for
installation whether you buy the equipment or lease.
Sounds to me like VOOM has some real momentum going. And charging
$199.00 for installation might kill that momentum.
Is D* or E* ever charging for instalation ? Not in any add I've ever
seen. Initial installation should always be free, and makes the
service more attractive.

you got that right. if the signup rate is only 400 a day, charging for installation would be a nail in the coffin.
