Since I use VOOM as an add on to my existing Digital Cable, I only
signed up for the basic VOOM package.
Is there a way to block channels other than OTA channels you dont
subscribe to?

No, you can only hide OTA channels. You can, however, enter all subscribed channels into your Favorites list and use FAV button to open the Favorites PG. Not very convenient, but better than nothing...
