Being the only male in the house, I'm outvoted 3:1 and must have these 2
channels. It's been 2 months and I can't hold out much longer. I don't want
to pay for both D* and Voom so I'll have to go back to D* if this keeps up.
Wilt have you heard anything on this front?

Rainbow is extremely protective of their contract negotations. We on
the calling floor, general find out there is a new channel when a
subscriber calls and tells us it's there.

The best I can say is keep watching the channel line up.

I NEED HGTV!! I love the shows on that network. I still have (gasp...) Comcast cable just so i can watch it.

I had a hard time getting spousal approval for a satellite dish. When she found out she would be losing HGTV, the tide began to turn against me. I'm not sure how long I can hold out against a woman who thinks VHS tapes offer perfectly fine PQ and would rather watch "Designers Challenge" in SD than The Monster Channel in HD.

PLEASE hurry with HGTV!

wittangamo, I feel your pain, there's no way my wife bugged me after watching movies on progressive scan DVD over VHS, as well as standard channels over HD. Once she saw it she shut up. She does gripe about HGTV, DIY, however we always find something else to watch so it's all good for now..
