[VOOM] for dragonldy 07/05 deadline

Do you know if VOOM will extend this again or better yet do away with
the $199.00 install fee ??? I've been with VOOM since 11/05/03, and
feel charging $199.00 to install will kill any momentum VOOM may have
going. No other provider charges for installation, that I'm aware of
anyway. Happy VOOming..

given the myriad of problems people continue to have with installation, actually CHARGING for it will really p*** people off. I hope Voom bites the bullet and continues with the free install.

They may go with a 1yr commitment. Dish gives you multi-room free install but requires 1yr commitment. But at the end of the year, you own the receivers, even the HD one.

I really don't know what they have in the works as far as promotions
for July. This is VOOM, expect the unexpected. grin

They kept competitive to date, so I don't see that changing.
