I just ordered the H659
Is anyone using this remote and how does it work with the VOOM STB ?

Yes I have 2 of these remotes and love them!!

They work GREAT with the VOOM boxes (and anything else you throw at it) :D

Your going to like it. :D

I don't remember which model # I have.. I have the one that supports DVR
functions.. but I can tell you I love mine. So do my parents and my friends
who bought them too.

The "only" negative is I wish the batteries would last longer. I need to buy
rechargable batteries because I go thru them too often considering the cost
of batteries today.

Robert,
I read (satguys, I believe) that an updated Harmony remote-same model
as the "old" one?-had fixed the battery eating problem. Can't
remember about how one goes about updating but not sure you had to buy
a new one.

Anyone have an RF solution for Harmony remotes? I need to have RF as my
components will be in a wooden cabinet soon. I've been using a simple RCA
IR <-> RF <-> IR bridge to make the remotes work in other rooms and I
imagine this will work for a Harmony as well, but am curious if anyone has
a fancier solution such as the MX-800 RF...

[VOOM] THANKS, EVERYONE, BUT . . .

Thanks to everyone who tried to answer my questions regarding VOOM.
However, one group member assured me that VOOM provides letterboxing,
yet another says it does not . . . actually I have calld the VOOM offices and
nobody seemed to know. I may be giving it a try soon. I'm still impressed with
the channel lineups. Anything with a horror channel . . .
