Hi,

I just purchased the new Sony XBR960 which comes with an HDMI input.
My understanding is that HDMI is backward-compatible so I can use a
connector from a DVI cable.

My question is the following: Does VOOM have any plans to make a
receiver with HDMI out? I'd also be interested in hearing your
impressions on the DVI vs. HDMI vs. Component Video question.

Thanks,
Justin

HDMI has essentially the same video standards as DVI with audio
added, but the connectors are different, so you'll need an HDMI-to-
DVI adapter. Of course you'll then have to route audio separately.
