I don't know if it was my constant talk about VOOM or my constant talk about
VOOM but my Dad ordered VOOM today!!

I'll be back in Texas when his install date comes around so now I get to
pray every night he doesn't have any problems or boy am I going to hear
about it <g>

As I said before, watching his directv was just PAINFUL. Then I found out he
was watching dvd's using s-video on his progressive scan dvd player. I went
out and bought the monster cables (red/green/blue) and rented finding nemo.
He was blown away with the picture. I said "now that's the quality you get
with HD". I think a lightbulb went off. Anyway I went out to run an errand
for him and when I came back he said he ordered VOOM. Can you actually see
that grin on my face right now? <VBG!>

Anyway a little info.. the sales rep told him on the phone the DVR release
is late August! I was like YEAH!!! Unfortunately I also found out VOOM
doesn't have a referral program :-(
