For the past week satbiznews has been talking about Cablevision's VOOM.

I think this is where All the rumors are coming from from all camps (DirecTV, Dish Network & VOOM). Perhaps from the headlines VOOM may be selling a signal.

Here are the headlines:

WEDNESDAY OCT. 13, 2004
CABLEVISION'S VOOM TAKES ON IN DEMAND

FRIDAY OCT. 15, 2004
IN DEMAND DEFENDS AGAINST CABLEVISION

As we all know In Demand is the owner of INHD. It is the parent company that sells premium HD programmers to MSO and other distributors. In Demand is a programmer. Could VOOM be headed down the road to becoming a programmer?

Technically InHD is owned by Time Warner, Cox, and Comcast. This doesn't surprise me as Cablevision is one of their competitors.
