[VOOM] MsNbc Banner about Digital Format

I was watching MsNbc last night and during HardBall (6pm CST), there was a
banner on the top of the screen that said to call your provider and have
them switch to MsNbc's digital format or risk losing the programming.

Did anyone else see this message or know anything about it?

Voom switched to digital feed today. You don't need to do anything.

There is an MSNBC digital and analog feed. This is from the uplink and =
=20
is available to us C-Band people and all the other cable and satellite=20=20
providers. Depending on the bandwidth, an analog feed is usually=20=20
better quality.

If Voom switched to the digital feeds on all the channels, would the problems with the 'sparkles' and other video noise on a few of the channels go away?

This is a true statement. The sparklies are on analog satellite=20=20
channels only. With a digital signal, it's all or nothing--just like=20=20
the snow on a local non digital OTA
