[VOOM] TNT HD vs OTA HD

I've been watching some shows on TNT HD, such as Without a Trace and it
looks to me like the quality is not as good as it is watching it via the
OTA.

Am I just imagining this?

OTA, if your station doesn't multicast, will usually be better than what you get on satellite due to recompreession and other bandwidth saving shenanigans.
