[VOOM] VOOM and bigger dish

Hi all! I'm new to the YaHoo group and was wondering if anyone is
having a rain fade issue with VOOM? I live in SW FLA and during the
summer time it rains everyday. I have tried calling VOOM but all I
get is excuses and apologies. They will not help me in getting a
larger dish which I know will help with this issue.

I know they have an experimental 30" dish but they said that they
can only give it to people out west! I tried to get in on the
experiment telling them that the rains here in FLA in the summertime
would be a good testing ground, but was told no. Any ideas would be
a great help. Thanks!

I have the 30inch dish here in Seattle and it ROCKS>.
It is night and day better then standard dish.
You should buy one online if they wont give you one.

I just got installed a week ago in Austin, TX and that's what my dish
looks like. I can't tell if its exactly the same size, but it looks
about the same size, and it has the offset feed.
