EXCLUSIVE COVERAGE OF THE GAMING GLOBAL LEAGUE’S TOURNAMENTS
New York, NY - May 9, 2006 - Gameplay HD, the first high-definition channel solely dedicated to the world of video gaming, announced today that it will become the television destination for gaming tournaments by introducing expanded coverage of the Global Gaming League's (GGL) tournaments by obtaining the exclusive broadcast rights to seven of their events. At each GGL event, cameras will follow the storylines of teams as they compete against each other in an effort to advance to the championship level. The coverage makes for a true spectator's sport, as viewers learn about their favorite players through profiles, giving them more of a connection to their favorite cyber athletes as they follow them around the world watching them compete. Gameplay HD is part of VOOM HD Networks, the largest and most diverse suite of high-definition channels nationwide and currently available nationally on DISH Networks.

As part of their agreement, Gameplay HD and Global Gaming league have identified seven tournament events on which they will collaborate. The tournaments encompass a wide variety of events which allow gamers to watch the very best in the world compete. The tournaments include:
TransAtlantic Cup
March 24-26, 2006

The TransAtlantic Cup followed 24 players on board a Scandinavian Airlines plane traveling from Copenhagen to New York. This was a nine hour gaming party with in flight broadcast that culminated at a final live event in New York. Travel with these players as they experience gaming competition at a whole new level.
GGL V-Sports All Stars Second Annual Event
May 10-12, 2006

GGL will bring the very best video game players in the world to E3 for an All Star Exhibition tournament. These All Stars are selected by a blue ribbon panel of gaming experts and voted on by gaming fans worldwide. This is the time to see the very best in action and to pick your favorite.
