WELL it time for D to add Watch ESPN . Maybe we have it during the football season. According to Scott it coming.

I suspect that when Disney/ESPN and DIRECTV come to terms on their new long-term contract, WatchESPN should be added. That is how DISH picked it up.

The only issue is that the current contract doesn't expire until the end of the year.

I have no doubt it comes when the main contract is renewed, which Im sure has already been discussed with the SEC Network meetings.

I read somewhere here that Disney/ESPN doesn't add anything mid contract so I'm expecting it to be added not before the renewal. I have access to it now through my Internet service but that only gives you access to ESPN 3 programming. However, just using it for espn 3 & casting it on screen with a Chromecast stick, shows how awesome a service it is.

I thought the deadline was Spring 2015 but they could always renew early if both sides can come to terms.

Maybe the old contract expires next month or December, so digital rights could be added by then.
