Weird message from my 625

I keep getting this specific message that says something like if you do not want to incure a charge for not having a phone line connected to your receiver.Please make sure one is connected to avoid this charge.I have had a phone line connected since I took delivery of the service.Have you seen this message before.:cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool:
 
The connection might not be working.

Go into the the diagnostics menu (Menu 6,3) and select connection.

Then select dial out if you're able to.

After checking the diagnostics screen in the menu. Try a phone on that jack or line. Do you have DSL or Dial-Up? When I am on the internet through my Dial-up I get that message also. If you have DSL make sure you have a DSL filter. If you still have a problem, call for a service call.
