Welcome Pack channels keep changing

I little while ago I was very surprised to see some extra channel show up in my Welcome Package including:

Bravo
Great American Country
National Geographic
Style
Verus

Today I checked and these had gone away but the following channels have been added.

Lifetime Movie Network
NFL Network
Hallmark Movie Channel

Is this Dish hoping you will get hooked on the channels and then upgrade to a bigger package after they remove them from the Welcome Pack?

Is there a way to know about these changes as soon as they happen rather than just noticing the extra channnels showing up in the guide?

My Guess is they are Free Previews every month your getting.

Go to channel 102 it lists the freeview channels and the days they will be available.
