I am doing some testing in a private forum so you guys don't see all my test posts. Most (not all) are posting instantly.

I turned off the Bing Indexing, and am still seeing it from time to time. I am thinking now its due to the search being moved from ElasticSearch to the MySQL database (which tripled the size of the database.)

I am thinking mysql needs to be optimized to handle that size DB.

However I don't know if I should do that or not, as it will require a lot of trial and error and restarting of the database server for the changes to take effect. I am leaning to turning ElasticSearch back on which is a lot better performance. But we will be missing some of the bells and whistles (such as predictive test) that we had on 2.3 until an update is made for 2.4.

Ok installed a newer version of ElasticSearch and reinstalled the Xenforo Enhanced search plugin.

Now it is reindexing the database... again. But this time in ElasticSearch and not the database.

Once again this is CPU / Mmory intensive, so there may be slowdowns while the search index is built... again. :)

I'm having an issue trying to upload photos, either by using the Image icon, Pasting an Image, or Attaching a Photo:
(Tried to include a screen capture but, you know, image uploads are broken)

"Oops, we ran into some errors"
"A server error occurred. Please try again later"
