Will the regular HD channels be in HD lite too? ie: discovery, hdnet, etc. or just the vooms and new HDs?
what about regular HD channels....

Sean thanks for the reply but it doesnt really tell me if I should invest more money in Dish only to find out that all HD channels are now HD lite. If thats the case than Digital cable with "regular" HD would be the only solution for me since I have spent big money on an HD set and equipment and want to see true HD.
Does anybody know the scoop on this? It would seem to me that nobody would want Dish HD if all HD content was HD lite.
At this point I dont know if I should invest more money on a new MPG4 reciever if it is only going to pickup HD lite. Personally I like the Discovery channel in regular HD and hope it stays that way. Be careful guys of whats coming. Let the buyer beware!

currently not all of them are HD Lite. Will they be in the future? no one knows. For sure no one knows if cable is going to downresize either if HD Lite becomes the standard.
