What are the chances of us getting LOGO?

I would love to have this channel as well and have been hoping that Dish would add it to the lineup. I know we're opening a can of worms with this thread, but, it's no different than the people that were vocal about wanting their sports channels or USA and Sci-fi HD. Everyone has their own "wants". With that being said.... is there any word of this channel coming anytime soon? When does the Viacom contract come up for negotiation?
That will probably be when LOGO will launch, Viacom will have it bundled with the other MTV channels. But not sure when the contract is coming due. Has to be with the next year or so I would think.
I've been waiting for it as well since it's launch. I'm planning a move in the next 6 months. Have already decided to switch to Direct unless they get it before my move.
what's Chiller has to do with Logo? Chiller is from NBC/Universal and Logo from Viacom
I guess as many have stated, when Viacom's contract is up and they force Dish to carry it
When we had DTV and logo, I thought it was boring. Hardly ever watched it after awhile. All the shows were on gay cruises seemed like. I thought bravo had better gay oriented programming then logo. Now that I've been with dish, I never once missed not getting logo.

But I really do want LOGO & CMT Pure Country. Guess I will have to wait as well. I am hoping one day they will be added. But oh well...LOGO hasn't been showing much good according to their online schedule, so I don't feel like I am missing much. Yet.
I wonder why DISH got rid of Here TV to begin with. Logo has been requested a lot since its launch but DISH has never responded.
Saying that, I've watch Logo at a friend house. While some of their original stuff is very good, what they do to movies is unacceptable. Some of the movies I've seen shown on Logo have been chopped up so badly to edit scenes that they are unwatchable.
I had it with Directv and only watched about 2 or 3 movies and after a while I barely even remembered it was there. It shows a lot of programming that is boring . Although I really liked that "Adam & Steve "movie. It was funny as hell.
You can bet that the lack of LOGO and the elimination of Here TV on Dish has everything to do with $$$$. For the right price and agreement, Charlie is willing to put anything up on the sats. However, I would not expect any announcements regarding those channels, just as Dish seems to never acknowledge the porno channels, although they did run ads for porno on some channels for about a month, and then they disappeared.
We have had may thradds on this. Often someone posts that e has some tibit of info that LOGO will be dded soon. It never is. The bottom line is that none of us really knows it it ever will be added.
One doesn't have anything to do with the other. The OP was asking about the channel coming to Dish and you are talking about Dish running commercials for porn channels.?.
