i get these channels in the 9800's. are they testing for HD locals.

No. It's a test for people who only have a dish 300 pointing at 119 and not a dish 500

some markets that are on 119 spotbeams right now they are moving to 110 (Echo 10). There are some people still with a Dish 300 so they are convincing them to move to a D500

at least one of their local channels will be turned off at the regular location with a scroll stating to call Dish. Customer calls, and are scheduled thru Dish to get Dish500 and are redirected to the "temp" channel until the dish is put in.
