What do we do with the VOOM equipment?

I have Voom equipment that is/was leased. (Dish, Receiver, Remote, antenna, etc.) Has anyone been told what is to be done with them? I see posts talking about using the VOOM dish for receiving E* 61.5 transmissions?? Did Voom and E* agree to this as part of their deal? I have disconnected the equipment as I have installed a HD-DVR from another company. I really would like to return (or have picked up) the VOOM stuff so I have no further responsibility for it.

Any info appreciated. Perhaps if Wilt is still monitoring, he could address this.
Thanks

Satellite compnies usually only come back and get the receivers from people who cancelled their service. According to some previous people who has cancelled VoOm before they went "dark", they said the only equipment that was taken when they got deinistalled was the receiver.

No one has heard what VoOm is going to do with the leased equipment yet. Need to just store the receivers or use them OTA until further notice.

Actually, I get almost as much enjoyment out of watching the programs
as I do from looking at the guide. I'm getting all the SD locals
through dish now, but there are quite a few extras in the digital
broadcast. For example, the local PBS channel is broadcasting on 4
channels, and several others have features like local weather radar and
news. Sometimes I barely feel like watching the 24 hour weather radar
channel that I can only get off local digital broadcast without a guide
to tell me what's on - but somehow I will muddle through.

I think everyone knows the equipment would have only
juck value as in the rare metals and some of the ics
but the rest isnt worth the time to pay someone to go
to the home and uninstall it and mail to some
warehouse. Maybe one day you can sell it like a
commadore computer on ebay. It might be a collectors piece
