What does my current bill indicate?

I am on autopay and every month for the last year I have been billed $63.90 like clockwork, but this month, my bill is:

Amount Billed: $6.71

Amount Scheduled for Auto-pay: $0.00

Payments Received: ($6.71)

Credit Adjustments: $0.00

What does this mean? Is Voom ready to shut down? Why would they not bill me for a full month?

My paper bill breaks down like this:

January 23: (63.90) Full payment.
January 31 - February 12: (17.29) Voom service. This is a credit.
February 13 - March 12: 0.00 VOOM. No service charge for the entire month?
February 13 - March 12: 19.00 Equipment charge ($9.50 each)
February 13 - March 12: 5.00 Multiple TV, blah, blah.

I am not being charged for service for this month? What gives? And I got a $17.29 credit? Is this my 1 year anniversary gift from Voom or do they cease service this month?

Enquiring minds want to know. :D

Hello Neuman. Your normal bill of 63.90 consists of Voom at 39.90, plus an additional $24 (2 STB @ 9.50 plus a $5 mirror fee).

If you take the 63.90 and then charge $0 for Voom, you have $24 left to pay. Subtract out the credit for $17.29, and that leaves $6.71.

So if you are being charged $0 for Voom programming in March, then the bill makes sense. I don't know why there would be a credit for $17.29 (maybe skeeter allowance??)

Two possible explanations for $0 for Voom in March.
1. They compute Voom charges seperately from other charges, and that hasn't been done yet.
2. Voom decides to bill $0 for the base package in the last month of operation.

I'm hoping for #1 and not #2.

Why dont you call and find out.

Has anyone else checked their billing for March? If so, are you being charged?

Nope! I've changed nothing, in fact, I haven't called Voom in months.

My bill is due pretty soon, but I've never been on autopay. They still send a paper statement and I pay by check. I haven't been able to get to the account summary because of that shutdown message on www.voom.com, and www.voomllc.com doesn't link to anything yet.

The statement should arrive in the next couple of days. I'll let you know DarrellP. I never call Voom either. Laying in the weeds and still on the 79.90 VaVaVoom plan.

My bill..
January 16 (64.40) full payment-thank you
February 13 - March 12 49.90 Voom
February 13- March 12 10.00 Equipment charge ($9.50 each)
February 13 - March 12 0.00 Multiple TV connection Fee ($5.00 per additional receiver)
4.50 Sales tax
$64.40 total
