Hi guys, I talked to VOOM csr and he told me they will perform the installation next wed. I didn't ask to cancel the installation b/c I have a 6 months agreement with them. But what should I do now?

Are you talking the $1.00 commitment? If so, just do it, if they will install. Worst you will be out is $1.00 plus a month of programming. And not even the month, you will get programming for as long as it last. And if vOom will go dark, you will not need to pay for service. That's how simple it is.

From voom.com:

Voom will cease to provide service to existing customers on April 30, 2005.

New customer orders are no longer being accepted, and we are unable to complete any scheduled installation or service appointments. You will be contacted regarding any scheduled appointment.

Voom is going going going....

Forget about the impending shutdown...
