I've just purchased a motorhome and I'm getting it rigged for Dish satellite service. I purchased a Winegard ST-2000 tripod mount and mounted a spare Dish 1000 on it but the mount is just too unstable for this dish. I use a 1000.2 at my house and I believe it is somewhat lighter in weight but it too may be too "top heavy" for this stand. So, all you experienced RVers, is there a better solution to my problem? Thanks.

Just get a pole and put it in the middle of a bucket and pour some gravel in it or even concrete if you want and just carry it with you.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to get some T-handle earth anchors and bungee cords for extra support with the portable stand I already have and see how that works out.
