What is the advanage of having a Superdish?

No advantage at all unless you have locals or want internationals that are broadcast from the 105 W or 121 W satellites. A Superdish really isn't that super.

Superdish is for people who have International channels or locals

Int'l is on 61.5/148 but new ones are on 121, which needs a SD
Some cities locals are on SD also

It doesnt eliminate a dish (unless the Int'l was/is on the wing)

those are on 110/119 (El Spanisho Channels)

now if you wanted French, German, Arabic, Japanese, or other ones, those need either a wing or most likely a Superdish
