I see people in this forum quoting everything from S222 to S225. I am currently at S222 and would like to know if I should be asking Dish to shoot me an update, based on whether a majority of people have something different.
What is the most recent Hopper software update that the majority of people currently have?

S222 is the latest update. The other firmware that you are reading about are beta release and should only be going out to Dish employees.
Also, updates are spooled to subscribers and you have to wait for it to be sent to you. Dish does not force an software upgrade even if you ask for it.
Thanks tomcrown1 - I just posted in another link the same question. I'm still on S222 and was feeling left out of all the update mania lately!
Thanks all for the responses. And yes, if an update is out to everyone and you need to have it forced down to you, you can get it sent. However, no one in customer service will admit to this. You have to have a good relationship with your installer, at least in my case, who will then talk to customer service. I have had this done twice in the ten year period that I have been with Dish.
