What is the point in 5 dishes

If you have a programming package, why should you hook up more dishes? Can you get other channels which are not shown on your orig. dish.

I don't understand what extra channels you can get off the different sats.

Dish's main programming is on 110 and 119.

Some people have minor locals on 61.5 or 148 as well as a couple of PPV channels and Public Interest channels. Here is a list.

Sky Angel is on 61.5 as well.

Most of the foreign language channels are on 121 as well as some locals.

Alot of local channels are on 105.

I've got AT120 and there are channels I "should" get, but don't, because they're on the 61.5' or 148' satellites and I don't have a dish pointed at those.

I imagine some really hard-core people do it to get 125 signal strength on every satellite....
