What is the visual look of the menu of recorded programs on the External hard drive?

If you hook up an external hard drive on say the 722 dvr, what does the interface look like when you access the programs that recorded on the external hard drive? Does it come up as a regular folder as it would if saving from a PC or does the software in the receiver display it the exact same as if you were accessing it from the internal drive with no external drive hooked up?

What external hard drives seem to work best with no issues hooked to the 722 dvr?

The interface is the same as for the internal drive. Western Digital, powered EHDs.

So it will have the same menu, look, choices and commands as the internal dvr drive?

Sequence= DVR-4-2-2-1 to view recordings. The look is close to the same, except the recordings are not in alphebetical order.

They are on my external. I have mine grouped by title on the internal drive and this is mirrored on the external drive. Within each folder they are in descending order by date.
