What is uncommited mean on coolsat

Hello, in the sat setup on a coolsat 5000 when you choose 1.0/1.1 down lower you have to choose which uncommited to use. What does it mean? I do not see it change anything. thanks for info on this.

That's for DiSEqC 1.1 switches. An 8X1 switch is an example.

The uncommitted selection will allow up to 16 inputs.

It's also a way to use switches in series. (Committed and Uncommitted)

I use to use the Digiwave 8x1 diseqc on my CS5000...works great for 8 inputs and you can cascade switches to it for 64 satellites
