What PCI do you recommend

DSS support and that's it.

Any card can do 4:2:2 if you have the right software. Remember all the card does is tune the signal and pass the 1's and 0's to the software. It's up to the software to turn it into video.

So the 103g does not support dss?

And what exactly is dss... I'm drawing a blank.

AFAIK, The skywalker does not support DVB-S2.

If I remember right the drivers for the DVBTech don't support DSS.

well maybe thats why I couldnt lock. I assumed it was my signal as my spectrum was showing it pretty low.

odd that tsreaders genpix interface shows it as an option under modulation.

I realize it doesnt support trellis though, is there anything afordable out there that does support trellis though ? lol

In the Genpix TSReader interface DVB-S2 = DSS.
