what r the Clinometer elevation and direction to look at for dtv slimline sl3 or sl5?

i live in marietta, ga 30066 and am going to install my own directv slimline dish for the choice package with a genie.

i have a suunto cliometer, and need to know what set of numbers (elevation and compass directions) to look at to make sure i have a clear line of sight.

what birds will i be looking at and with my choice package (w hbo too and atlanta locals) should i use an sl3 swim or sl5 swm?

which is the best, most reliable model (manufacturer) for the sl3 or sl5 lnb.

Go to http://dishpointer.com and enter you address and select the either the 3 sat or 5 sat constellation for DirecTV.
This will then display a Google map with a line showing your LOS.

sjmslik, I am curious as to why you are doing the install yourself. Directv will do it for you for free for the basic installation. How are you getting a Genie for a self install?
