There is a guy selling the following:

40" Fortec Star Model FC-110 Satellite Dish; Invacom Quad LNB; Stab Motor/Drive to position dish; Viewsat Receiver

I am wondering what I should offer?

Would be hard-pressed to get that stuff for $300 new.
Depends on which motor... if it's the HH100 or 120 (and it should be), then maybe more.
Yea, I'd probably agree it's worth $150 to someone.
If he's hard up, $75 or 100 would be a steal.
Real question is, what's it worth to you ?

Oh, and if it's local, that's another $50+ you'll save in shipping!
What's the condition of all the stuff?
If he's worn out the motor, well then...

thanks

have not seen it yet. thanks for ur input. I am leaning toward going new anyway now that i have slept on it. 100 or so in savings is not worth the potential hassles.
would be different if it was up and I could verify operation.

If it's local, then the dish alone at $150 is less than you can get one shipped to you for. If the dish is in good shape, consider that fact. STAB motors are good motors, BUT who knows about this one. I wouldn't hesitate at $150 after looking at the dish, but more than that is iffy.
:)
