What to do with old 6000

I am confident that many individuals have upgraded their equipment and have thought about the $25 dish will give you for a owned equipment. I have an old E6000 (presently active) with the two modules (8PSK module is unstable,but OTA works great). I prefer not to mess with e-bay and somehow can not post on the classified forum to get a fair return on my much used receiver. What have other individuals in this situation done and what is a fair price for the E6000?

I would suck it up and sell it on e-bay and you'll get about $200-$300 for it because of its hackability.

E6000 tentatively sold

Tentatively working a possible sale with a memember of this forum. Error in original post corrected. It was the 8PSK module that was bad, not the 8VSB OTA module. Unit cannot receive satellite HD channels, but local HD channel come in OK. Also unit upconverts the non HD channels to 1080i, which is not HD, but it does fill in the lines on larger screens. More than $100 but less than $350.

I'm surprised by how many 6000's continue to sell on eBay for $350-$400. At least that was the going price a month ago.

"buy it now" prices are 811:
149 to 215 with some asking 350 !

942's seem to be going for between 450 and 500. one "buy it now" of 425 (not bad considering the other bids) and 599

someone sold a new in box 942 for $150 & free shipping, it sold in 2 minutes, I wish I would have found that deal
