Whats better for HD,FTA satellite reciever or Cable?

Hello Guys
I am still new to the FTA satellite receiver concept. I have been using Comcast till now and i really like my HD channels' quality on Comcast.
Now i wanna buy a HD satellite receiver(Viewsat Max HD or 9000HD). I wanna know if there is any degradation in the HD quality while using satellite recievers(compared to Comcast)

Please help me in making this decision
