somwthing to point out is that, they are in fact 1080p, but this is not as good as that may seem. 1080p, as refering to HD DVD and such, simply means 1920x1080 resolution, without interlacing. This makes since, since there is no interlaced LCoS sets, or plasmas, or DLP, or anything but picture tubes. When people talk about 1080p being the best, they are assuming 60fps (as is 720p) HD DVD's (such as the terminator 2 extreme dvd) is 1440x1080 resolution, but runs at the films native 24fps. This provides a very film like feel, but again, is not like the 1920x1080x60fps that people dream about (as a cross of 720p and 1080i would produce). I have never seen any 1080p material that was actually anything over 30fps, which is what any "1080i" pixel based display currently shows.
