Don't know if you guys have been following what's happening in Boston, but Comcast seems to be determined to switch it's NBC programming from WHDH (which has been with NBC since 1995) to WNEU, an NBCUniversal O&O that currently carries Telemundo. The problem is that WNEU's signal is a lot weaker than WHDH's signal mostly because WNEU's signal is located in Merrimack, New Hampshire, a good distance northwest of Boston. Sunbeam Television, the owner of WHDH is taking Comcast to court saying Comcast is violating antitrust laws with their near monopoly position in the Boston market (they also own New England Cable News and CSN New England), as well Comcast would be violating their conditions as part of the Comcast-NBCU deal in that "Comcast had agreed not to reduce over-the-air coverage of NBC, nor use its cable holdings to influence affiliation negotiations." (that quote was taken from WNEU's wikipedia page)

So what do you think? Is Sunbeam gonna win court and keep their NBC affiliation or is Comcast going to get their way and do whatever they want?
