What's the best way to encrypt email attachements?

I like Adobe Pro but it's $500.

Is there a good free download?

Just use WinZip v.9 or later (AES 256) with a long key. For keys use a line from poetry.
Make sure the key is communicated over different channels, e.g. phone.
