What's with all the recent channel moves?

Been noticing all the channels moving lately (SoapNet, Outdoor Channel, Reelz), is this to open up spots for new channels? MLB Network would seem logical in Outdoor's old spot, anyone heard anything?

Haven't heard anything, but would doubt that MLB Network would be coming. If Dish were to get that channel, it would be grouped with other sports channels. Dish is not opening a slot near them. You should also search for MLB for more reasons why not.

no the MLB channel would be near the NFL channel but you are correct..it would be a very unlikely event

Maybe Dish getting ready for a fully realignment of the channels to fix some category corrections as some channels change there format and don't fit in the category anymore. example, SpikeTV is on 168, which would be perfect if they were still "The Nashville Network", but when they changed from a Country Music network to a national basic channel like USA to a guy friendly show network, it lost it's Music channel status.
