I got a used 6 ft dish about 4 months ago, and I haven't gotten around to putting it up yet. I was thinking of doing it this weekend (weather permitting). For those of you who are C-Band aficionados, what is the best sat to aim a non-motorized C-Band dish at?

91w 99w 113w 116w 121w

Mainly on 99w for the feeds

BTW: This should be moved to the Cband area.

Hard to say really. Having a motor on a good dish expands your viewing choices dramatically.

I can get everything from 55.5 west to 139 west . I could get 148 west until that satellite died.

I do expect to go with a lot more NFL feeds this football season, but absent that, 87, 91, 97, 99, 105, 121, 125, 131 and sometimes 133 are the summer mainstays.

For me, if I had to have a dish I couldn't move, I'd get a C/Ku lnb and I'd go with 125 west. That's maybe six PBS stations, two (sometimes 3) in 1080i HD. Create Channel is pretty cool, and is a good alternative to the Food Network.

On the C-band side there is A&E, History and Disney.

with no 4DTV setup

99 for nets and feeds
121 for a cornucopia of programming
118 for the former equity stations...couple in English, Univision, Telefutura

oh yeah, keep on forgetting that slot for some network TV.
I need to add this one to my fav list :D

Thanks for the input guys. I have an idea now of where to start. The rain poured today, so I guess the dish will have to wait just a few more days.
