When will Dish ad the CW-HD to the Houston area?

Are you sure that you are not watching an OTA HD broadcast on your 622?

BTW here is what DISH says they carry in houston and it states that the CW affiliate is SD.

I'll be getting HD in June or July. Can someone explain OTA HD? Do I need to get a separate antena? Does OTA come with the Dish Package?

OTA = Over The Air, or terrestrial broadcast

You do need a separate antenna. Go to TV Fool - Home or AntennaWeb to determine which type is suitable for your location.

The 622/722 DVR has a separate OTA input. If you use it, you can record 2 satellite HD channels and 1 OTA HD channel all at the same time. Dish requires a subscription to local channels to let you see guide info.
