First we will see the 722K possibly by Christmass, maybe Christmass 2009 if we are luckey.

Its a great product in all, but I really do not see a potential market for this for the every day customer

THe way I understand it the built in sling catcher should be able to be used to sling an hd picture to another tv in your house without wires. THIS is a BIG improvement over sd coax. THis makes the 722K the first dual tuner dvr that does hd in two rooms. Now most likely it will only be able to be used for single user traffic and you will watch the same thing in two rooms , but if they could make the second tuner output in hd as well using the sling catcher, they would rack up the subs fast.

Scott - is there any news info about 722k? The new DVR is not the same as 722. Interesting to hear what they're adding to 722's functionality.

No news, other then whats been reported, the 722K should hopefully be available around the holidays.
