When will the good VOD channels come?

I'm talking about the network channels, the HBOs, the Howard TVs, the WWE 24/7s. Any word on these?

I too find that most of what I would want VOD for is network programs.

I had a recording screw up last week and ended up watching a show on nbc.com

It was ok, but not an ideal viewing experience. I would much rather have had a VOD download and watch it later in the day.

I did notice that Showtime On Demand is now available. Looks pretty good. Californication and Weeds are good shows to be able to catch up on.

I like certain series on the premium channels - Weeds, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Wire, Big Love, etc. - but I hardly watch anything else on them. Will they ever offer some type of reasonable PPV VOD?

VOD On Demand should be free if you subscribe to the package (i.e Showtime, etc.) you shouldn't have to pay extra, unless you don't subscribe to the package in which you are downloading which is available to all now, it technically is no longer a CE for the BETA VOD.
