5 lnb dish into non-hd reciever

I recently had a 5 lnb dish and hd dvr installed. I am keeping the old dual tuner dvr. the dish has 2 sets of coax's coming in. can I hook the extra set to my old dvr ?

I have a 5-LNB Dish, a 700 DirecTV DVR, and a DirecTV HD Tivo DVR connected to the dish.

All works ok.

All DirecTV dishes, new and old will work with all IRD/STB's. So yes you can use a Slimline or AT-9 with older receivers.
